The core structure of the backfill free underfloor heating module consists of high-density extruded polystyrene board (XPS), aluminum foil reflective layer, and embedded thermal conductive layer (such as aluminum plate), and some modules also integrate pipe slots. Its working principle is based on the following three points:
Heat reflection and concentration: The aluminum foil reflective layer conducts heat from the pipeline upwards, reducing downward loss and improving thermal efficiency.
Structural partition: extruded polystyrene blocks heat conduction, and an air layer or foam material further reduces heat loss.
Uniform heat dissipation: The thermal conductive layer (such as aluminum plate) distributes heat evenly, avoiding local overheating or overcooling.
